Mrs. Santalo

Mentor

Mrs. Santalo received her Bachelor's degree in Advertising with a double major in Psychology from the University of Miami. She holds a Master's degree in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University. Her previous public relations work experience provides valuable insight into the field of communication.  Mrs. Santalo enjoys reading, writing and teaching at CEA!

Alexa Frades

President

Alexa Frades was born in Miami, Florida on July 31, 1998.  Alexa is in 8^th grade at Conchita Espinosa Academy.  This is her third year in Public Relations.  She enjoys interviewing people and getting know the topic she is assigned.  Alexa hopes to continue writing when she attends high school.  She has a younger brother, Nicholas who is in fifth grade and also attends CEA.  She would like to continue in the public relations and marketing industry when she is older.

Benjamin Leon

Creative Director

Benji Leon was born in Miami, Florida. This is his second year in Public Relations.  He enjoys writing and considers himself a creator.  He recently published his first book and will be launching it very soon.  He is very involved in this year's public relations effort.  He has created a cartoon series to be featured on the blog.  He is looking forward to learning a lot.

Gabriel Toledo

Life Cue Representative

Gabriel Toledo is 13 years old. He was born on August 24, 1998 in Miami, FL. He attends Conchita Espinosa Academy and is in eighth grade in Mrs. Jackson’s homeroom.  He enjoys playing videogames. Gabriel Toledo is going to be the link between Public Relations and Life Cue.

Adrian is in 8^th grade and a student at Conchita Espinosa Academy.  He is a Senior Photographer.  He has won awards in photography under Mr. Echenique’s direction.  He is looking forward to using his skills in Public Relations. Adrian was born in Miami, Florida on October 21, 1998.

Karina Chakour is currently an 8^th grader at Conchita Espinosa Academy.  This is her third year in Public Relations Advisory.  She has a passion for writing.  She is organized, responsible and knows how to meet deadlines.  These are some of the qualities needed to be successful in journalism.

Sofia Hernandez was born on  August 12, 1998 in Miami, Florida. This is her third year in Public Relations. She is a big part of our Public Relations staff. She is in the 8th grade at Conchita Espinosa Academy. Her favorite part about Public Relations is interviewing people to get more information on her topic.

Gabriella Mata was born on November 11, 1997 in Miami, Florida. She is in 8th grade and she attends Conchita Espinosa Academy. This is her third year in Public Relations. She likes to express herself in writing. When she older, she would like to pursue a career in business.

Environmental Awareness Representative

Daniel Legra is an eight grade student who is in his first year of Public Relations. He has been in Conchita Espinosa Academy for almost ten years. He enjoys living days in the lap of luxury with his tuxedo cat, Classy. He spends most of his time reading with his cat, playing with his cat, feeding his cat, and walking his dog named, Curly.  He is usually called Legra be his friends.

Miriam was born in Miami, Florida on April 16, 1999.  She started in Conchita Espinosa Academy in preprimary.  She participates in the Conservatory and enjoys Spanish dance, voice and theater.  She is in her second year of public relations advisory and will continue until she graduates next year.

Kristina Chacon

Kristina Chacon is a 7^th grader at Conchita Espinosa Academy. She has been in Conchita since Pre-Primary. This is her second year in public relations. She loves writing and taking pictures. She is very dedicated, responsible and organized. When she grows up she would like to be an architect.

Alexander de la Cruz is a sixth grader. He was born on December 24, 999.  It is his first year in public relations and in Conchita Espinosa Academy.  He enjoys spending time in Ms. Santalo’s class and public relation. He is a photographer and staff writer.  He is looking forward to a great year!

Samantha Torres

Samantha Torres is a current 7^th grader at Conchita Espinosa Academy. She enjoys television and cooking international cuisine. This is her first year in Public Relations. Samantha is a photographer but still does writing. She hopes one day to be a chef or a real-estate agent. Samantha is an animal lover. Her favorite subject is, and always has been, history. She loves to listen to music, especially house and pop. Samantha hopes to help improve Public Relations and help in anyway she can.

Cristina loves to write.  She enjoys writing stories and journals about different things.  She has been in public relations for a year and is excited to start another one with Mrs. Santalo.  She hopes to learn even more now.  She also loves dance and musical theater.
